9/15/09- Hey guys, Jon here. Just wanted to fill you guys in on what's up with CTTB. We have some big stuff lined up for the very near future, I can't say much about it but it's big and it's cool and it could really be the thing that gets us into the national spotlight. So keep your eyes open on that.... Thanks to all of you who came out to some of the amazing shows we had this summer! We are taking a break for a month or two from playing live to continue working on our new material. We've got some great stuff written, the 2 songs we have ready to go right now are called "Letting Go", and "Underlying Tension". Many more new songs are in the works, as well as our cover of Journey's "Seperate Ways", which a bunch of you heard at Ragefest. We are very excited to give you guys some new music, and hope to be recording a bunch of the new material very soon..... 2/07/09-We are insanely excited to tell you all that our brand new debut full length cd "From Conflict To Clarity" is done! We are celebrating this in many ways, the first will be our CD Release Show on Saturday March 28th at Water St. with The Sunstreak, The Hoodies, and more. Click on the show for more info.... We are very proud of this cd, and very grateful for all of you that have been waiting so patiently for this cd to be done. We CAN'T WAIT for you to hear it! There's alot of remixed and reworked songs on it that most of you are familiar with, but there's a few new surprises that we haven't yet released, including "Heartless", "Inspite" and the studio version of "We Don't Wanna Be Here". The cd will be available at shows and on ITunes, as well as from crytotheblind.com The first night anyone will have a chance to get it is March 28th, so do what you have to do, get all your frineds and get down to Water St. and party with us! |

9/02/08-It's been a great summer for us here guys, between playing the Warped Tour, Ragefest, getting in Metal Edge Magazine, it just seems like things are moving forward for us, and we have all of you to thank for it! As you know we've been recording our cd and writing new music, look for the release in Nov./Dec. if all goes as planned. It's gonna be worth the wait, 13 songs, a bunch of them reworked and re-recorded so watch out for announcements on that. Currently we're recording a song called "Carry Me", which is our best effort to date. We're also recording a song called "Just Believe", which has never been played live or heard by anyone except us..... we can't wait to share these songs with you, PLEASE continue to check our page often, and COME SEE US LIVE! Our CTTB army is growing, we see so many new faces at shows, and so many familiar ones as well, it's awesome, and it gives us the chance to keep doing this, and to hopefully get where we need to go.....we are nothing without you guys, so thank you once again! 7/09/08-We are pleased to announce that CTTB is featured in the August issue of Metal Edge Magazine, a worldwide distributed rock magazine! It's available at most major grocery and drugs stores, as well as news stands everywhere! We have a sweet version of "Angerfly" on the cd sampler that comes with the magazine, alongside national artists Soulfly and others. Along with that, there's a brief bio about the band. That means that over 100,000 subscribers (and thousands more that buy the magazine by itself) will hear our music, all over the world! It's the August issue with Disturbed on the cover, it's available after July 6th, pick one up! As always, we couldn't have done this without our fans, so we thank you once again for supporting us! 4/15/08-We're happy to announce that although we're taking a break from shows until June, we are heading back to the studio in April to record more material for our upcoming full length cd. The two songs we are recording this time are "Reflection" and "Shadow of a Man". You will all recognize "Reflection" when you hear it, we usually close our shows with that song, it's the "be myself again" song......can't wait to get it out there. "Shadow of a Man" is our newest song, it was written by Jesse, we have played it live about 7 times now, those of you who saw us at Water St. Music Hall on April 11th would recognize it, it was the first song we played. 12/9/06- Greetings
to all! Cry to the Blind would like to wish all of our friends and fans
a safe and happy holiday season, we'll be taking the next month or so
off to write more new music, send out more press kits, and keep this project
moving forward. We'll be back in the studio in early '07, more information
will be available soon on what we'll be recording. IF YOU LIVE IN THE
SYRACUSE AREA, please call KRock @ 424-ROCK and request Cry to the Blind,
we need them to hear your voice! We've got some great plans for '07, we'll
be playing in some new venues and new cities, hopefully in some old favorites

10/20/06- Cry to the Blind will be featured in the "Rochester Insider"
magazine in the issue that comes out Friday 10/27, thanks to the Insider
and the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle for giving us some press! Thank
you to everyone who came out to Milestones for our cd release show, it
was a great night and a success for sure. Our EP "A Near Life Experience"
is now available on this website for $4, order yours now! The EP is also
available at Area Records in Geneva and the House of Guitars in Rochester
, NY. Make sure you make it out to one of our upcoming shows, we have
2 more new songs we need your feedback on! We have many more bookings
coming for the fall/winter, as well as new T-shirts and stickers on the
way! Special congratulations to Steve and Lori, their new baby Steve III
is healthy and doing fine, and Steve will be back on stage singing in
his mailman shoes very soon! |

8/16/06- Our
EP Release Party has been moved to Friday September 22nd @ Milestones
on East Ave. in downtown Rochester, sorry for the change in plans! We
will be appearing live on 98.9 The Buzz in Rochester on Thursday August
31st @ 8:30 am for an interview, they'll also be spinning our tracks that
morning, check it out if you're awake! Huge thanks to everyone who came
out to the Penny Arcade for the Loopus show, we had a blast, hope to see
you all again soon, and thanks for all the feedback on our music! |

to the Blind has won the 2006 Heineken Unsigned Talent Competition! Thanks
to 98.9 The Buzz for spinning "Shame" and for all their effort!
We've also completed the recording of our new EP "A Near Life Experience."
Our EP Release Party will be held at Milestones on 9/1, don't miss it!

7/22/06- We've
been selected as finalists in the 98.9 The Buzz Heineken Unsigned Talent
Competition, the finals are this Friday July 28th, we play at 7pm, the
show takes place at the High Falls Festival, an annual event that draws
around 2000 people, the show and event are free, we'll also be heard
on 98.9 on Thursday morning, they'll be spinning "Shame" and
plugging the show! There are 4 stages of bands, vendors, beer, etc.
so come down and cheer us on! |

7/04/06- Thanks to everyone for helping us spread "Shame" across the net, we really appreciate it! Thanks to all of you who've been at our last few shows, the response has been great! We've got more shows coming up for the summer, including opening for Greenwheel on 7/15, as well as the continued recording our our new 4 song EP. We will have the recording completed by the end of June, so look for the release of the cd to be July/August. We can't wait for all of you to hear more of our new music! For those of you who've heard them, the songs we'll be recording are "Angerfly", "No Tomorrow", and "Born Dying". Thanks again for helping share our music, we're getting tons of feedback! |
